Hey there, welcome to Room with a Bloom! It is with great enthusiasm I take my first step in the world of blogging.

For months now I’ve been planning this space without really making much progress at all, So today, on this cold winters day in June, I invite you to go on this exciting journey with me.

So what does Room with a Bloom mean? Well first some context is needed…

For about a year and a half I was studying Interior design and I loved everything about it! There’s something so exhilarating about creating warm and inviting spaces for people to live in. Eventually that passion began to disappear. Something inside of me clicked and I knew it wasn’t the path I wanted to be taking. I loved the idea of creating beautiful houses, but what I really wanted to do was inspire others to create their own homes and brighten their lives. Hopefully that’s what I’ll be able to do using this blog.

I’m the kind of person that really thrives on the spaces they’re put in, and I believe that it doesn’t take much to add some life to a not-so-inspiring room. It just takes that extra spark, that glimmer of light, a dash of colour, the delicate fragrance of fresh flowers. All it takes is a room with a bloom for something magical to happen…

This new space will contain Recipes, organisation tips, Interior design and décor, DIY’s and crafts, and lifestyle type posts every Monday and Thursday!
